Canadian Militaria Preservation Society Museum

The Canadian Militaria Preservation Society was formed with the purpose of maintaining and sharing the proud and colourful history of the armed forces in Canada, with an emphasis in the period 1767 to 1967.
The collection comprises several exhibits, including most personal weaponry and accoutrements of the soldier, a study in Trench art, as well as a very advanced grouping of paper goods from years past. The paper goods portion includes documents, maps, training pamphlets and circulars as well as an extensive collection of Military posters, viewable from throughout the store and Museum.
The Museum is located on a purpose built second story addition in the MilArm Co. Ltd. building.
Open 10:30 to 2:30 or by appointment Monday to Saturday.
We have partnered with the Royal Alberta Museum and the
Heritage Community
Foundation to produce a web site and virtual museum on Alberta`s Homefront during the Second World War.

20 photo essays written by the Canadian Militaria Preservation Society and many articles from the Royal Alberta Museum.
